Combined with a maximum 68.1kWh CATL lithium iron phosphate battery, it achieves the class-leading lowest energy consumption of 11.7 kWh per 100 kilometers and the class-leading longest range of 650km, requiring only one charge per week for urban commuting.
Not only that, in order to improve the range achievement rate, the BMS battery management system equipped in the Aion RT adopts liquid cooling battery technology for faster cooling; in low-temperature cold weather, the battery also has a low-temperature heating function, allowing the vehicle to maximize battery efficiency without fear of high or low temperatures.
Tests by numerous media outlets show that the Aion RT's range achievement rate is as high as over 98%, and some media even measured RT range data exceeding 100%. In different road conditions and different regional environments, the Aion RT can deliver truly real and reliable range, with a range achievement rate exceeding 95%.
The Aion RT also supports fast charging, gaining 200km of range in 10 minutes of charging, and charging from 30% to 80% takes only 18 minutes, 7 minutes shorter than the mainstream speed (25 minutes), so a cup of coffee's time is enough to gain a long-range experience.
In terms of intelligent interaction, the Aion RT is equipped with the ADiGO 5.0 system, featuring the built-in ADiGO SENSE cloud large model, offering faster response and smoother interaction, supporting multi-command voice control, various mainstream apps, and massive entertainment resources. In terms of intelligent driving, the Aion RT has 27 intelligent driving hardware components including lidar, is equipped with a fourth-generation end-to-end large model and NVIDIA Orin-X high-computing-power chip, and its intelligent driving level is in the first tier. It supports highway NDA and urban NDA, and whether on highways or in urban villages, rural roads, and other road surfaces, it can comprehensively ensure driving safety. The vehicle also supports automatic parking and remote parking, making parking easier.
In terms of safety, the Aion RT is built based on China-EU dual five-star standards. The body extensively uses high-strength steel-aluminum alloy and hot-formed steel, and is equipped with up to 6 airbags plus a class-exclusive rear V-shaped side curtain airbag, greatly enhancing passive safety. In terms of battery safety, the Aion RT has comprehensive protection from Magazine Battery 2.0 technology, does not catch fire even when shot, and with 800,000 vehicles on the road and 48 billion kilometers driven, has zero spontaneous combustion.
Since its launch, the Aion RT achieved sales of 11,811 units in its first month, becoming the first pure electric sedan to exceed 10,000 units in its launch month. In its second month on the market, sales reached a new high of over 16,000 units. With cumulative sales of nearly 30,000 units in two months since launch, its momentum is unstoppable, and it is expected to become the "first hit of 2025."
