Recently, Japan's Autobacs Seven released official images of the Civic TYPE-R ARTA GT package version. The package was created by the ARTA Civic Type R Super GT 500 racing team. The package is priced at 13.5 million yen (about 590,000 yuan), which is twice the price of the regular Civic TYPE-R.

In terms of exterior, judging from the released official images, the new car's exterior applies a large number of aerodynamic components. The front bumper has been widened and integrated with the wide-body wheel arches on both sides. The bottom of the front bumper has large air vents, which, together with the three-stage vents on the hood, greatly improve cooling. The new car is surrounded at the bottom by components such as a front splitter and side skirts, bringing stronger downforce to the front and rear wheels. The new car has vents set before and after the wheel arches, is equipped with custom tires, and uses black AP Racing brake calipers. The rear of the new car has a large rear wing and diffuser, and continues to use a central dual-exit exhaust, with the "ARTA" logo printed on the exhaust.

In terms of interior, the new car retains the air conditioning and entertainment system, and is equipped with a quick-release racing steering wheel. The steering wheel is wrapped in Alcantara material, and driving-related function buttons are set on the steering wheel.

In terms of power, the new car continues to be equipped with a 2.0T engine. The official statement says a larger intercooler has been replaced, but the specific power parameters have not yet been disclosed, and chassis-related information has not been released either.

Dada commentary: The Civic TYPE-R is the most "ordinary-folk-colored" high-performance car in the Honda family. The 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 320 horsepower, can achieve 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.4 seconds, and the exhaust sound has a deep, rich texture similar to that of a V8 engine, making it a pure driving weapon. At present, the new-generation Civic TYPE R introduced into China by Dongfeng Honda has a guide price of about 420,000 yuan, but in the current era of new energy vehicle development, spending 420,000 yuan to buy a TYPE-R with 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5.4 seconds is not the best choice. The Civic TYPE-R ARTA GT package version released this time looks more like a race car after the exterior upgrade, and the interior upgrade is mainly in the steering wheel section. In fact, the tuning of power and chassis is the top priority of the upgrade, but none of this information has been released yet.
